The installation delay has put the city in a pinch with its lender, Regions Bank. The city was scheduled in November to pay back about half of the $1.85 million, one-year note it had spent so far. Like so many other communities, many in Dunnellon appear to be looking at Lafayette for inspiration. I certainly hope Dunnellon can get a similar level of citizen engagement, but few have been able to duplicate the impressive work of Lafayette in that regard.
