Since 1974, ILSR has championed local self-reliance, a strategy that underscores the need for humanly scaled institutions and economies and the widest possible distribution of ownership.
We rely on people like you to form this new base of support for ILSR’s work and vision. There are a variety of giving levels, so please choose the level that best meets your needs and abilities. Every donor makes ILSR and its programs stronger and more effective. Thank you for support!
If you’d like to do something bigger, consider becoming an ILSR Sustainer.
When you become a monthly donor you are making an important commitment to the communities we serve. Sustainers provide ILSR with a reliable income stream, allowing us to focus more on helping communities build systems that are responsive to local citizens. Your gift will enable us to respond at a moment’s notice and will reduce our administrative costs so we can put more of your donation to work building resilient local economies.
What do ILSR Sustainers receive?
- A thank you gift of your choice (i.e. Big Box Swindle, Seeing the Light, or other ILSR publication)
- Quarterly updates through our Sustaining Community newsletter
- Invitations to speaking engagements when we pass through your town
With apologies for the inconvenience, sustaining contributions can be made at our Razoo site
Your gift of at least $10 will be charged each month to your credit or debit card. Since your donation is processed automatically, you never have to renew. This means less hassle for you and fewer solicitations from us. With your gift, you will join a community of dedicated supporters who will build a new foundation for ILSR’s work. A major impact for a modest pledge!
